When God Steps In

Preaching from Joel 2:23–32 and Luke 18:9–14, Rev. Dr. Tunde Oladimeji reminded us that every time God’s people need a change of story, it begins with repentance. When Judah faced devastation and loss, God promised restoration—the early rain to prepare the ground and the latter rain to bring the harvest. When God steps in, He blesses abundantly, filling empty places with new life. Just as Peter obeyed Jesus’ word and found his nets overflowing, we too must trust God’s promises. He fights for His people and never fails. Like Joseph, who believed God’s promises even in death, we must hold fast in faith until His word is fulfilled.
