The Advancing Kingdom - We are Unstoppable 16
Rev. Dr. Tunde Oladimeji preached from Genesis 19:16–38 and Luke 10:1–21, emphasizing that while we must present the Gospel in ways that connect with people today, we must never conform the message—or ourselves—to the trends of the world. Like the Israelites who asked, “How can we sing the Lord’s song in a strange land?” we can remain faithful because we know that this world is not our home.
We are called to live differently—to resist the pull of the past and not make the mistake of Lot’s wife, who looked back longingly at her old life. Too often, we cling to what is familiar instead of embracing God’s call to change. Every believer is called to the work of evangelism. When we serve the Lord, we discover deep and lasting joy—a joy worth sharing. By letting others see how God has transformed our lives, we point them to His saving grace.
In sharing the Gospel, we grow closer to God and share in His glory as we witness lives transformed. The world needs believers who will take the message of Christ into the marketplace—not with judgment, but with love.
