Seeking Jesus

Rev. Lami Oladimeji reminded us that God created humanity for relationship—with Him and with one another. Though sin disrupted that fellowship, God’s desire to be with His people never changed. Like the father of the prodigal son, He longs to welcome us home, and through Jesus Christ, the gap has been restored and we are invited back into His presence.

We are called to seek God intentionally and wholeheartedly. Just as the Magi pursued Him and Mary Magdalene remained at the tomb, persistent seeking leads to deeper encounters with the risen Christ. When we dwell in God’s presence and soak in His love, we are transformed and empowered to share the joy of fellowship with our Savior.
