I Am Not Giving Up

Rev. Dr. Tunde Oladimeji preached from Jeremiah 31:27–34 and Luke 18:1–8, reminding us of Jesus’ call to pray and not give up. Like the persistent widow who refused to stop seeking justice, we too must pray with persistence and specificity, trusting that our loving Father desires to bless His children. Prayer is not meant to change God but to change us.
We often grow weary when answers don’t come quickly, yet faith endures even in waiting. One man prayed 52 years for his friends’ salvation—some were saved during his life, and one after his death. God is not unjust, and His timing is perfect. Prayer should be our first resort, not our last.
When the Son of Man returns, will He find faith that does not give up? May we be found steadfast—believing, praying, and trusting the God who never fails.
